Greater Noida is becoming hub for residential and commercial development



The idea to develop a world-class city, Noida extension have better infrastructure, remarkable residential, commercial and educational facilities. Greater Noida is on increasingly open progress. Greater Noida is now become a hub of several Indian and foreign MNCs. The developing region stands apart from other cities. The industrial and commercial policies are developed and implemented by Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority (GNIDA) has effected in a great amount of people into the region and commercial actions have taken off in right earnest. According to R K Arora, the chairman and managing director of Supertech Group, “Greater Noida has nowadays becomes one of the rapid developing sub-cities in the NCR. It is a striking destination for both commercial and residential activities. As the city is proximate to central Delhi and Noida, it gives a good residential solution to working people. Moreover, as several corporate houses have developed their plans to establish offices here and it also provide more employment opportunities to residents”.


One of the best characteristics of this township is it has top class golf course, developed and managed by Jaypee Greens on over 400 acres. Another attraction of this city is Gautam Buddha University is a modern and well-equipped educational institution over 511 acres along the Yamuna Expressway. It has facilitated the city an expensive customers who will manage to purchase real estate property here. Besides premium projects of villas and apartments being developed by Jaypee Greens inside the golf course, a number of respected developers like Supertech, Antriksh, Amrapali, Ajnara, Logix, Ansal, Unitech, Omaxe, Parsvnath Developers, Earth Infrastructure, ATS Infrastructure, Assotech and Paramount are developing several high-quality projects in the city. To meet the demand of residential real estate, Greater Noida authority is developing sectors like 10, 12, Xu, Mu, Tau, Omicron 1, 2 and 3, Zeta, Knowledge park5, Ecotech Extension etc. GNIDA has allocated budget for several developmental works. To develop these new sectors, GNIDA is acquiring land from villages like Itehda, Parthla Khanjarpur, Sabery and Haibatpur near Noida's Sector 71 and 76. Knowledge Park 5 and Ecotech Extension are being developed for institutional and industrial units. GNIDA is also keen to launch an institutional hub on 75 acres and an educational hub on 50 acres. The high profile Gautam Buddh University has already been started.
GNIDA is preparing to set its own power plant to offer 24x7 quality power supply. The construction of a pipeline from Dehra to Greater Noida via upper Ganga canal is almost complete and it is expected to ensure 24x7 water supplies to the city. From this pipeline, Greater Noida will get 85 cusecs of water. According to Rakesh Yadav, the managing director of Antriksh Group, “People from Delhi prefer to shift and settle here, as it offers better facilities and lifestyle. Soon, it will also be a hub for employment generation and will provide quality job opportunities to its residents." Apart from educational and software development, the township is also being developed as an industrial hub.
